I read my poems today for the first time in years and I revised some of them.. And others were just too bad too revise right now. But I did realize a trend within my work. My poems were either love, religious, or really twisted. I cannot belive I once wrote like that. But do not get me wrong I still love my work I just wish I could go back and refeel what I felt back then when I wrote my gory ones. I wonder if I can still write like that today. In todays life for me I am in a wonderful relationship that has a very goood future and I am in college and Im at least passing. (well thats what I keep telling myself) I have some pretty good friends. I mean I would have no reason to write like I used to. But I wonder can I regain that same intensity that I once had. Like with my poem Girl's Nite Out. Is that possible? I will try to conquer that talent that has been hidden for a long while. I guess looking at these poems now I probably felt that if people would read what I called work of art they would feel as if that I am weird and just plain creepy but now I am more secure with myself so I should be able to write. Just by rereading this poems it kind of rekindled my love for writing the freedom that writing gave me. I was able to be who I wanted when I wanted. It is an inspiration coming back to deviant art. I hope I can please everyone again like I used to if not more with my writings..
